Email marketing has grown substantially over the last few years. In 2017, it’s estimated that the average consumer receives around 105 emails per day, and the average business email account receives 120 emails on a daily basis (source: www.radicati.com). With more and more of us experiencing ‘in-box pressure’, how can you make sure that your emails are being received and read by your clients?
If you communicate regularly with your clients, from confirmation of booking, class/course resources, newsletters, to workshop and event information, first impressions count. If you’re relying on outlook as your email tool of choice, you are certainly missing out on harnessing the power of a targeted and relevant email marketing campaigns, and engaging with your clients.
Engaging emails are easier than you think
You don’t need a degree in coding or html to design and send creative and compelling emails; there are many great and free resources available online. I’ve been creating and sending email campaigns since the mid 1990s, and in 2009 won the Communicator Corp, Email Campaign of the Month. With a little planning, you can create, schedule and send relevant emails that are more likely to be read by clients – both existing and potential.
